Our webinar series will alternate between topics designed to benefit those who are new to Hospital at Home and those who are already established and wish to extend their skills and/or service. Our webinars are free to attend but recordings are only available via the membership portal.

27-29th March 2025, Vienna, Austria
The next World Hospital at Home Congress will be held in Vienna, Austria on 27-29th March 2025.
This international congress will bring together clinicians and researchers from the international Hospital at Home community, to discuss current and future work in Hospital at Home, recent research and innovation, and offer opportunities for networking and discussion, with 90 speakers from around the world, alongside poster presentations.
Abstract submission is open until 12th September 2024, and further information can be found here.

Past Events
The UK Hospital at Home Society conference was held in Birmingham on 7th March 2024.
This one-day, in-person conference brought together clinicians and researchers in Hospital at Home from around the UK, to share learning and facilitate networking about many aspects of Hospital at Home. More information can be found on our conference page.

The clinical leads of the 'Virtual Wards' Getting it Right First Time (GIRFT) team presented about the ongoing work of the team. They work with NHS England to support NHS teams in developing and establishing new Hospital at Home services, expanding the availability of these services to more patients. Their work particularly focuses on frailty services and services for patients with acute respiratory infections. Following the presentations, there was discussion with responses to participants' questions.

Antimicrobial stewardship is an important element of healthcare delivery, and is a common consideration in children's Hospital at Home services. This webinar explored this further, with relevance to both paediatric and adult services.

Maintaining a high standard of care entails investing in their education from induction to HaH to competences, and continuously fostering their ongoing development. This webinar comprised a panel discussion around training, mentorship, recruitment and education for Hospital at Home nurses.
