Dr Rod Kersh is a geriatrician working in Rotherham supporting patients in the community. He is originally from Glasgow and studied at Dundee University, graduating in 1998. He also works as a partner/geriatrician at Manor Field Surgery in Maltby, Rotherham. Rod is Clinical Director for the Division of Community, Therapy and Dietetics in Rotherham.

He lives in Doncaster with his partner & daughter. His son is at university in Bristol. He has two dogs (Stella & Blake), a tortoise (Yoda) and tropical fish and enjoys reading and writing his blog. You can find his blog at www.almondemotion.com
