Dr Sarah Woolley

Sarah is a Senior Research Fellow at Warwick Business School. Her research interests are in strategic management, leadership and change. Her work focuses on understanding how organizations and teams collectively orchestrate strategy, innovation and change in complex and dynamic environments, primarily within healthcare and not for profit contexts. Prior to joining academia, Sarah worked as a Board Director in the NHS leading the quality improvement agenda and has had a varied career working in consultancy, managerial and scientific roles, across healthcare and not for profit sectors. Earlier in her career, Sarah worked as a clinical biochemist within the NHS and as an academic research scientist. Sarah continues to practice strategic management as a Non-Executive Director in a social care and housing provider.
Sarah completed her undergraduate scientific training at Manchester University (BSc. Cell Biology) and holds a PhD in Business and Management (Warwick Business School) and a PhD Immunology & Biochemistry (Birmingham University).
