Interim Assistant Director for Enhanced Services

Catherine Sheeran is the Interim Assistant Director for Enhanced Services in the Southern Health and Social Care Trust.

Her areas of responsibility include:

• Acute Care at Home (Hospital at Home)
• Intermediate Care
• Non- acute Hospitals – Lurgan and Loane House
• Specialist Primary Care Services e.g. Community Respiratory, Palliative Care and Diabetes, Dietetics, Continence, Tissue Viability
• Urgent Care, Phone First and GP Out Of Hours

Catherine has been involved with Hospital at Home in the Southern Trust from the initiation of the Acute Care at Home service in 2014. She has overseen the development of the service supporting multidisciplinary working, use of point of care testing and embedding the model as a key enabler to support care for frail elderly in the Trust.

She has previously presented at both the UK Hospital at Home and World Hospital at Home conferences.
