Nathan has worked in a number of service improvement roles across local government and the NHS.

Since joining Healthcare Improvement Scotland in 2013, Nathan has delivered a number of national quality improvement and quality assurance programmes. These include organisational level implementation of quality improvement infrastructure, and service-level work to implement frailty identification and care coordination, intermediate care, and most recently Hospital at Home.

Before making a move to the NHS, Nathan worked with elected members to form and implement policy for local government in England.
